Deliverable
A
deliverable is a tangible or intangible good or service produced as a result of
a project that is intended to be delivered to a customer (either internal or
external). A deliverable could be a report, a document, a software product, a
server up-grade or any other building block of an overall project. A
deliverable may be composed of multiple smaller deliverable. Some
deliverable are dependent on other deliverable being completed first, this is
common in projects with multiple successive milestone.
Product
and process
A software process specifies a method of
developing software. A software project on the other hand is a development
projects in which a software process is used.
And software products are the outcomes of a
software projects.
